The National Council of the Slovak Republic (Národná rada SR) officially passed the Act on Work Performed through Digital Labour Platforms on 23 September 2026, establishing a dedicated legislative framework to transpose EU Directive 2024/2831 into national law.
The statute introduces a rebuttable legal presumption of an employment relationship based on subordination and operational control, while granting collective bargaining and association rights to non-employee platform workers.
