Description
The District Court of Amsterdam has ruled that a request from drivers to the platform Ola on the provision of all personal data was too general and not covered by the GDPR.
There is no need for Ola to disclose further data to drivers, nor to change the format in which data is provided. Anonymised passenger ratings and the information used to create the earning profile and fraud probability score must still be made accessible by Ola. However, the court ruled that Ola does not have to disclose the large number of categories of personal data processing to drivers.
