Qover, a Belgian insurance company, has started to offer its services to Wolt, a food delivery platform operating in Scandinavia. The insurance will be provided to food delivery riders working through the platform in Finland, Denmark and Norway. The riders will be automatically covered by accident insurance which applies once riders log into the Wolt app and covers personal injuries (including €50 of hospital cash benefit per complete 24 hours and up to €7,500 of medical expenses per insured person per coverage period).
Apart from the partnership with Wolt, Qover has worked with many other digital platforms in Europe. It has been collaborating with Deliveroo since May 2018 in various European countries. It also provides insurance to Poppy, a car sharing platform, in Belgium
