Description

Pyszne, the Polish brand of Just Eat, plans to shut down its direct employment service, Scoober, by August 2026 and transition food delivery couriers to third-party sub-contractors. The trade union Konfederacja Pracy requested an urgent meeting with the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy regarding the restructuring. The union stated that sub-contractors pay workers solely per delivery rather than for working time and deduct administrative fees from worker earnings. This decision reflects a wider operational shift by Just Eat Takeaway away from direct employment models across European markets.
