Description

The Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt confirmed the judgment of the Regional Court of Frankfurt on UberPop of 18 March 2015 (Az. 3/08 O 136/14) and upheld the ban on use of the Uberpop app - Ruling 09.06.2016, (6 U 73/15), based on providing paid transport services without authorisation to carry passengers, which violates the Passenger Transportation Act and is also in violation of anti-competition rules. The judgement was not yet final, as Uber has the option to appeal.
