Description

FAMUR Glinik, the Gorlice branch of the Polish mining machinery group FAMUR/Grenevia, announced planned collective redundancies in Gorlice. The reduction is expected to affect nearly 200 workers.

The restructuring is linked to optimisation of the FAMUR segment, lower demand for mining machinery and the specialisation of production sites. Production in the hydraulics area is to be transferred to the company’s plant in Zabrze, while the Gorlice branch will focus on key production tasks. The final number and timing will be determined after consultations with trade unions.

Previous ERM cases for FAMUR in Poland were recorded: Famur, Famur, Famur , Famur.
