Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish provider of software development services PGS Software has announced that it will create over 100 new jobs, mainly for programmers, at its unit in Rzeszów in 2019. Currently, the company is expanding its office in the city; the investment is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2019.
PGS Software is one of the largest IT companies in Poland, which provides mobile applications and products for companies in finance, e-commerce, tourist industry, healthcare and automotive industry. The company was founded in 2005 and has units located in Gdańsk, Rzeszów and Wrocław. As of February 2019, the unit in Rzeszów employs 250 people.
Previous restructurings took place in November (200 jobs created), October (100 jobs created) and August (50 jobs created) 2017.
