The French car manufacturing group PSA announced plans to recruit 1,000 temporary workers for its plant of Sochaux (Doubs) to create a week-end team (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to cater for requests due to the success of its new model of 3008 and the construction of a new Opel. However, since 2016, two job creations were recorded (1,000 in July 2016; 150 in July 2016 also). But in October, the group announced a large reorganisation with 2,133 job reductions.
