European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish harbour operator Steveco is planning to lay off around 100 workers in Kotka, southern Finland.
The job cuts are due to reduced traffic and the company has initiated employer-employee negotiations potentially concerning all the 700 employees in the Kotka harbours.
The ERM has reported on previous restructuring cases at Steveco in 2010, 2007 and 2005.
