European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 20 June 2005, the sea transport operator Steveco, informed it is to start cooperation negotiations with the whole personnel in order to cut its labour force by 300 employees. The cuts are carried out due to the weakening profitability.
On 31 August 2005 the company announced that 253 jobs will be lost.
