Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Orange Poland is to implement a voluntary redundancy plan, envisaging up to 380 job cuts at its subsidiary company Orange Customer Service. As reported, the company has signed with the local trade unions a bilateral agreement. The ‘Social Agreement 2014-2015’ envisages a severance pay equal to 4–15 months salary, based on length of employment. Orange Customer Service was established in 2010.
