On 30 January 2013, Grupa Telekomunikacja Polska (TP Polish Telecom) announced plans to cut 540 jobs in its subsidiary company Orange Customer Service.
The company signed with the local trade unions the bilateral agreement on the conditions of the collective dismissals, including a severance pay. The plan originally consisted of 760 redundancies, but the number was later reduced to 540.
Orange Customer Service was created in 2010. Currently, the company employs approximately 6,000 people across Poland.
