Description
Sanyo, a member of Panasonic group has announced the closure of its site in Dorog, and the dismissal of all 500 employees in September 2013. The liquidation process is expected to end in March 2014, and the equipment will be transported to Malaysia and Japan.
In its Dorog plant Sanyo produced solar panels since 2005. The decreasing volume in European orders brought the decision of closing down the site here.
