Description

On 20 January, Sanyo began production at its newly converted solar pannel assembly plant in Dorog, Hungary. The investment of HUF 4,5 billion (EUR 16,5 million) created 300 new jobs at this factory. The factory's output is sold via the Munich trade Centre Europe-wide.

The Sanyo factory in Hungary was built in 1999, in the Industrial Park Dorog, where workers made conditioners, mobile phones and power tools batteries and rechargeable batteries.
