Description

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), the state-owned holding company of the Polish defense industry, has announced that it plans to create over 200 jobs.

The recruitment concerns various subsidiaries of PGZ across Poland. In Wrocław, PIT-RADWAR is looking for 40 specialists, including software developers, electronics engineers, designers, and quality control experts. Following a 20% workforce increase in 2024, Jelcz, the armoured vehicle manufacturer, intends to maintain high recruitment levels for mechanics, welders, and locksmiths throughout 2025. Zakłady Mechaniczne ‘Tarnów’ will create 30 positions, while another 20 are expected to be created at PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in Gdynia.

Headquartered in Radom, PGZ employs approximately 20,000 people and is one of the largest defense conglomerates in Central Europe.

The recruitment is part of a broader announcement from Polish defence industry companies, including PZL Mielec: PZL Mielec 2025 - PL, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, Jelcz and Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów, and Huta Stalowa Wola: Huta Stalowa Wola 2025 - PL announced the creation of around 600 new jobs in Poland.
