Description

PZL Mielec, a Polish aerospace manufacturer and subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, has announced the recruitment of 100 new employees in 2025.

The recruitment drive specifically targets airframe assemblers, aircraft mechanics, and electric fitters. The move follows a significant expansion in 2024, during which the company hired over 300 staff. The expansion is part of a broader ‘boom’ in the Polish defense sector driven by geopolitical tensions and the war in Ukraine.

Based in Mielec, PZL (Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze) is one of Poland's largest aerospace exporters and a critical link in the global defense supply chain. Employing about 1,700 staff, the company produces Black Hawk helicopters and F-16 components. ]

The recruitment is part of a broader announcement from Polish defence industry companies, including PZL Mielec, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, Jelcz and Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów: Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa 2025 - PL, and Huta Stalowa Wola: Huta Stalowa Wola 2025 - PL announced the creation of around 600 new jobs in Poland.
