MBDA, a French missile manufacturing company, has announced that it will create about 2,600 new jobs worldwide in 2025.
In France, the company is to hire 250 employees at its production site in Bourges, where it is to double production of Aster missiles MBDA 2025-FR .
In Italy, the company will recruit 300 additional staff to support new production lines near Naples and Parma, as well as expanded research facilities in Rome MBDA 2025-IT .
In Germany, MBDA plans to hire about 800 new employees at its site Schrobenhausen, of which approximately 300 will be employed in 2025 and the remaining 500 in 2026 MBDA 2025-DE .
In the United Kingdom, MBDA is to invest £200 million to expand its Bolton site, creating 700 high-skilled jobs.
The recruitment drive and accompanying industrial expansion are designed to increase production volumes and accelerate delivery times in response to surging global demand for air and missile defence systems.
MBDA is a joint venture between Airbus, BAE Systems, and Leonardo, employing about 18,000 people worldwide. The company operates in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
