Description
MBDA, a French missile manufacturing firm, has announced that it plans to create about 250 new jobs at its production sites in Bourges in 2025.
The recruitment drive is part of a broader expansion to double missile production compared to 2023 levels. The increase is driven by a surge in global demand following the war in Ukraine and the French government's commitment to increased military spending, resulting in a company order book reaching €37 billion.
MBDA, jointly owned by Airbus, BAE Systems, and Leonardo, is a global defence leader employing 18,000 people worldwide. The company operates in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The company also recently announced the recruitment of 300 workers in Italy: MBDA 2025 - IT.
