Description
MBDA Italy, a French missile manufacturing firm, has announced it will create 300 new jobs in 2025 at its various sites across Italy.
As part of the growth strategy, the company is establishing new production lines at its facilities in Noceto and near Naples, while also expanding its research laboratories and office space in Rome. The recruitment drive and accompanying industrial expansion are designed to increase production volumes and accelerate delivery times in response to surging global demand for air and missile defence systems. The strategy reflects broader EU priorities, as air and missile defence has been identified as a key area for member state funding, alongside efforts to secure supply chains and increase production resilience.
MBDA, jointly owned by Airbus, BAE Systems, and Leonardo, is a global defense leader employing 18,000 people worldwide. MBDA currently employs 2,000 people across Italy.
