French information technology and business consultancy company Capgemini has announced that it will create 1,000 new jobs at its unit in Gdansk in the next three years. The company plans to employ 200 people until the end of this year. The company is looking for English-speaking Java, .NET, Angular and React specialists. The reason behind the job creation is the expansion of its Center of Modern Business Services and the plan to accommodate more customers.

Capgemini operates in about 50 countries and employs over 270,000 people worldwide. The company has been operating in Poland since 1996 and has offices located in Kraków, Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań, Opole, Warsaw, Lublin and Gdańsk.

Previous business expansions for Poland were announced in November and December 2021, with 300 (Capgemini-2021-PL) and 600 jobs created (Capgemini-2021-PL).
