Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French information technology and business consultancy company Capgemini has announced it will create 300 new jobs at its unit in Lublin in the next two years. It will hire in total 100 positions in the next few months and arrive to 400 employees on the site within the next two years. Capgemini is looking candidates for its Cloud Infrastructure Services division, both experienced specialists and graduates. Different work schedules will be available for the new comers and both work in the office and remote format. The source also report that the company is to increase its office space to 2,600 square meters. The unit in Lublin provides IT services in 8 languages, including English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
Capgemini operates in about 50 countries and employs over 270,000 people worldwide. The company has been operating in Poland since 1996 and has seven offices across the country (Wrocław, Kraków, Katowice, Warszawa, Poznań, Lublin and Opole) employing about 10,000 people.
