European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Information technology company TietoEVRY is planning to cut 600 jobs in Nordic countries: around 250 in Sweden (TietoEVRY-2021-SE), 160 in Finland (TietoEVRY-2021-FI) and 190 in Norway (TietoEVRY-2021-NO). In each country, the company has initiated consultations with trade unions. Job reductions will be completed by the end of 2022 and will mainly affect administrative positions.
TietoEVRY has launched an efficiency program, aimed at saving 50 million euros each year to invest in automation. TietoEVRY pledges to offer workers reskilling opportunities and possibilities for internal mobility across the company.
