Description
The electronic business company Sony announced an expansion of their workforce with 100 jobs in the city of Lund. The company has over 800 employees in Sweden. The expansion is set out in order to open up a new global research and development centre for the whole company group. Most of the created jobs will be taken from the group of 200 people that lost their jobs in the fall 2018, when Sony cut jobs as a measure to meet rapid decreased sales, see earlier published factsheet.
The new centre in Lund will be responsible for developing new and existent software for mobile phones.
