Description
Finnish moving and logistics service provider Niemi Palvelut has announced plans to create 200 new positions during spring 2019. A total of 100 new permanent employees and 100 temporary employees will be recruited in Finland. The company stated that a lack of workforce has made operations difficult during 2018. Niemi Palvelut also announced that it will raise wages for its moving and logistics employees. According to the company, the new wages will be 10 to 20% higher than the rates specified in the sectoral collective agreement.
Previous restructuring took place in 2017, when 100 new positions were created.
