Description

Warsaw Local Government has announced plans to hire about 1,590 teachers at local schools. The government is mainly looking for primary school teachers (over 1,000 positions), especially staff to assist students with special educational needs as well as math, English and Polish teachers.

According to the vice-mayor of Warsaw, there are two main reasons that have led to lack of staff in the public education sector: low salaries and the education reform which was implemented in September 2017. Warsaw Local Government employs over 30,000 teachers at local schools and kindergartens.
