European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Chinese manufacturer of automotive interiors, QUIN GmbH, is to hire 100 people at its plant in Ghimbav, Brasov County, by the end of 2018. Quin, which focuses on the production of car components for clients like Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Porsche and Rolls Royce, is looking for 100 more operators in production due to high demand.
As of November 2018, the company employs 1,500 people at its factory in Ghimbav, which was inaugurated in 2008. Globally, Quin operates in five locations- Germany, Romania, Poland, China and Mexico. Previous restructuring took place in 2016, when the company created 170 jobs.
