Description
German automotive parts maker Quin is to hire 170 people at its plant in Ghimbav (Brasov County), which currently employs 1,400 people.
The plant makes various car parts with the use of plastics and other materials including airbag caps and steering wheels.
German Quin is a part of Chinese Group Joyson and has been operating in Romania since 2003.
In addition to the Romanian plant, Quin owns three facilities in Germany, Poland, China and Mexico. It is a supplier of a number of car brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Toyota.
