DPD UK, the UK subsidiary of the express parcel delivery company DPD Group, has announced that it is creating 209 new jobs. The job creation follows the company's recent move to a new purpose-built distribution centre in Nottingham, England. The new jobs will be in warehousing and operations. The company is also recruiting new drivers. Hiring for the new positions is underway and will be ongoing as the site is becoming operational.
DPD UK, which has its headquarters in Leicestershire, England, employs 11,000 people across the UK and delivers 230 million parcels a year.
In May 2018, the Group announced the creation of 700 jobs.
