Description

Logistics firm DPD has announced plans to create 700 new jobs in response to increased demand. The roles will be for weekend drivers in response to a 40% demand increase during 2017, which has been fuelled by the demand for next day delivery. Weekend deliveries are increasingly popular with customers who want to ensure that they are at home to receive their goods. The company also said that it has created 100 new jobs in its warehouse network to manage the higher demand. There is no information available as to when the new jobs are expected to be filled.
