Description
French DIY chain Leroy Merlin has announced that it will create 220 jobs at its new store in Mirków near Wrocław. The company will hire customer advisers, logistics staff, cashiers and managers. The unit is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2017. The store, having an area of 12,500 m2, will operate as a second Leroy Merlin’s Giga Market in Poland.
In January 2017, the company announced a business expansion programme affecting 100 jobs in Piła. Last year it opened stores in Wrocław (140 jobs), Jelenia Góra (152 jobs) and Mielec (115 jobs).
Leroy Merlin has been operating in Poland since 1994 and has 55 stores across the country.
