On 16th December 2016, French DIY chain Leroy Merlin has announced the creation of 115 jobs at its new store in Mielec. Workers are hired on permanent employment contract with social package. The store, having an area of 7,300 m2, offers 35,000 products. Leroy Merlin has been operating in Poland since 1994 and has 54 stores across the country. In 2016 the company opened another two stores in Wrocław (140 jobs) and inJeleniaGóra (152 jobs).
