Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
SEWS Romania, the local subsidiary of Japanese car cabling producer Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems (SEWS), has announced up to 100 job openings at the production plant in Alba-Iulia, in central Romania. Most jobs are for unqualified workers for the assembly and mounting of components.
In Romania, Sumitomo Electric Wiring System (SEWS) started its investments in 2000 by opening plants in Deva (Hunedoara County), Orastie and Alba Iulia (Alba County).
Now the company has plants in Deva, Hateg, Orastie, Brad (Hunedoara County), Alba Iulia (Alba County), Tarnaveni (Sibiu County) and Caransebes (Caras Severin County).
SEWS has announced another job creation in May and June this year.
