European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Pfizer, an American multinational pharmaceutical multinational has announced the closure of its Havant facility in the United Kingdom and the transfer of its packaging activities in this plant to its division in Puurs, Belgium. In total approximately 100 new jobs will be created in Puurs. This will increase the number of employees to more than 2000. No additional investments in production capabilities are required to facilitate the increase in employees.
