Description

MTV Media, a Finnish media company owned by the Swedish Bonnier group, has initiated employer-employee negotiations aiming to cut 30 jobs. The reason for the redundancies are negative margins. MTV will restructure and intend to double the domestic budget in order to focus more on domestic TV content in order to increase profitability. MTV currently has 300 employees in Finland.

The ERM has previously reported on redundancies at MTV in April and June 2015.
