Description
Swedish car manufacturer Volvo Cars is expanding its workforce by 200 employees in Torslanda, Sweden. The reason behind the expansion is the high demand for the company's cars, especially the new model XC 90. In January production will increase from 50 cars per hour to 54 cars per hour. The expansion is the third one this year. In April, 1,500 new workers were hired at the Torslanda plant, another 70 were hired over the summer and around 200 employees were hired during the autumn.
