Description
IKEA, designer and retailer of household equipment, is to hire 150-180 employees as a new store opens in Umeå.
The new store will open in the spring of 2016 and will become the 20th IKEA location in Sweden. The recruitment process starts 25 May 2015. The positions to be filled are distributed across seven functions: Sales, Logistics, Communication & Interior Design, Customer Relations, Human Resources, Business Navigation & Operations and IKEA Food.
IKEA Group, with INGKA Holding as parent company, is owned by Stichting INGKA Foundation. IKEA Group operates 267 IKEA stores in 25 countries. Earlier IKEA employment adjustments in Sweden have been reported by the ERM ( December 2012, July 2011, March 2009, October 2008 )
