After the closure of the company's production site in Oberwart, Burgenland, the Swiss manufacturer of underwear Triumph now announced further job cuts at the Austrian headquarter in Wiener Neustadt (Eurofound has reported, EF-29532).
The executive office has already submitted a list with 170 dismissals to the local works council but affected employees have not yet been informed. On Monday, 13th April, representatives of the management and trade union have entered negotiations about the list and a social plan for affected employees. So far, there is no information available on when the restructuring will be completed.
