European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Car manufacturer Ford will create 1,000 new jobs at its plant in Almussafes (Spain). 200 jobs will be created in December 2014. The remaining jobs will be created during 2015. On the other hand, elections for sections unions within the company will be held in February 2015.
This is the second business expansion of this plant. In 2013, the company re-introduced night shift and created 1000 jobs. This information was previously reported in the ERM.
