American multinational Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced plans to cut 300 jobs in Belgium. As reported the job reduction measure will affect the sites in Diegem and Mechelen and comes above the 265 jobs lost at the end of 2012. According to the sources the social plan gives the possibility of voluntary leave, but the trade unions consider that there will be not enough volunteers.
