Description
American multinational Hewlett Packard (HP) has recently announced a further set of restructuring measures on top of the previously announced elimination of 34.000 positions in December 2013. In May 2014, the group announced that as part of its ongoing restructuring efforts, a further 11,000 to 16,000 positions would be eliminated in the company’s global operations.
This will take the global count of job cuts to be implemented by the end of 2014 to 50,000. The company has not yet announced where exactly the newly announced 16,000 job cuts will take place.
