Description

ISD Częstochowa, a steel mill based in Poland, has announced that it will cut 200 jobs as part of its restructuring programme. The exact timeline for the restructuring has not yet been announced.

These job cuts are part of the redundancy programme that was announced by the company in 2013. The restructuring is a result of the crisis which hit the steel industry. The source reports that ISD Częstochowa has cut its staff from 3,050 to 1,480 over the last 12 months.

The ERM previously reported on restructuring events at ISD Częstochowa in 2013 and 2011.
