Description
Volkswagen Motor Polska has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its facility in Polkowice in the Legnicka Special Economic Zone. The job creation is a result of the opening of a new production line to manufacture Volkswagen’s third generation diesel engines.
According to the source, the investment is worth €183 million. The company has been operating in the Legnicka SEZ since 1998 and, currently, the company employs over 1,200 people there. The ERM previously reported on a restructuring event at the company in Poland in 2005.
