Automotive supplier Automotive is to cut 80 jobs in Osnabruck (Lower Saxony). The job cuts are mainly to affect RD, sales and the purchasing department. The initiative is due to weak sectoral demand.
Talks with worker representatives have been announced.
Valmet is based in Finland, employing 400 staff in Osnabruck. In 2010, the company had acquired the production plant in Osnabruck from the bankrupt Karmann.
