Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Slovenian telecommunications equipment and solutions provider Iskratel is to cut 120 jobs by the end of 2013. The company announced the job reduction measures as part of a cost cutting plan due to the unfavourable market conditions. In addition to the restructuring, wage cuts will be implemented for the remaining staff. Iskratel currently employs 954 people: 700 in Kranje (Gorenjska region) and 254 abroad.
