Description

On 19 June US-based IT multinational IBM announced plans to create 350 new ICT jobs in the next 3 years in the newly established IBM Services Center Groningen. The recruitment is to start on 26 June 2013. The call refers to recent engineering graduates as well experienced professionals with a technical background.

The new Services Center is the outcome of the partnership between IBM, the province and municipality of Groningen, the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, the University of Groningen and the University Medical Center Groningen, aiming to provide a solution to the expected shortage of ICT experts and the opportunity for hands –on practice to recent graduates.

For previous restructuring in IBM, see IBM –WO2013, IBM-NL2012, IBM-NL2005 and IBM-NL2002.
