Description
On 19 September 2012 IBM Netherlands announced it will cut 240 permanent jobs, out of a total of 4200 in the Netherlands.
In addition, an estimated few hundred flexworkers will be dismissed. The measure is part of a worldwide restructuring operation. It is reported that a large number of jobs is to be offshored to India. The workers’ unions have been critical of the measure.
