Description
Finnish food company HK Scan announced that it is to cut 150 jobs in the south of Sweden (see here) and to close a plant in Bjaerskov, Denmark, in September, with 70 job cuts.
At the end of 2011, the company employed 2,511 employees in Sweden and 844 in Denmark, and has a total workforce of about 7,882 in Europe.
