Description
The finish food company HK Scan has announced that it is to cut 150 jobs in the south of Sweden. About 100 of these will be white-collar jobs and 50 blue-collar jobs. The production of semi-finished products will be transferred from Strövelstorp to the production facilities located in Halmstad and Kristianstad.
The company's home market consists of Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Baltics and Poland and has approximately 11 400 employees. Approximately 2,800 employees are located in Sweden. The measure is to improve annual financial results.
As of August 2012, there is no information on when the job cuts will start. However, the changes are planned to be implemented by the middle of 2013.
