Description
The publishing group, Unidad Editorial, will apply for a Redundancy Procedure affecting between 170 and 195 employees. The measure will affect the newspapers of the group Marca (sports newspaper) and Expansión (economic newspaper). In addition, the staff of some specialized journals will be probably affected.
This is second Redundancy Procedure with the group plans to apply. The first one affected the newspaper El Mundo (see here). The compensation package will also be the same, with 35 days per year worked and 5000 euro.
