Description
The newspaper El Mundo, which belongs to the group Unidad Editorial, will apply for a Redundancy Procedure affecting between 170 and 190 employees. The measure is blamed on the drop of the advertising investment.
UPDATE 5/10/2012: The Redundancy Procedure which has been finally agreed with the unions will affect 150 employees. Dismissed workers will receive a compensation equal to 35 days per year worked and 5000 euro.
